November Recap

Long overdue post is an understatement.. we are doing well just busy as can be and I have not made the time to update this blog like I want to.. no excuses I just haven't. At the end of the day the last thing I want to do is work on the computer, even if it has to do with fun stuff. Working from home has many many benefits but at the same time my work computer is always on. Sometimes I shut it all down and pack it away at night even when I have to get it all back out in the morning just to have a break. It gets too easy to respond to an email at 8p.m. and I definitely don't want people to think I am available 24/7!

Anyways on to the good stuff! Since I have not kept up with this blog and because Matt is yelling at me to go rest and get over this cold I will just post pictures and captions for now. Check back in a few days I will update it with more stories and details.

Fun day at the park with Uncle Terry!

This is what daddy and Hadley do while they let mommy sleep in :-)

Below is a fun game we play.. all you have to say is "Where's Hadley" and this is what happens:

I love that she thinks she is hiding and no one can see her!!

It is more fun to brush each other teeth!

She will not let me put a bow in her hair but she will happily run around with a bucket on her head!

A new toy?!
Oh and they roll
This is fun!
I'll put them back!
Almost got them all
I still see one, but she did put almost all of them back.
Dog pile!
Matt is going to love that I posted these pictures!
I secretly captured these moments between daddy and daughter. She doesn't know how lucky she has it to be his daughter!

The following pictures and the actions involved are all because of CC (which Hadley started calling my mom CC on Thanksgiving!) Thanks a lot mom!!

Okay my back now..

Okay the feet again..
You see Hadley woke up Thanksgiving day with a cold and wasn't feeling her best but was a trooper and did smile and play throughout the day. Towards the end of the day she really started fading. As she was playing with my mom, my mom started rubbing Hadley's feet. So now Hadley will sit down and take off her socks or shoes and pick up her feet for you to rub them. She is my daughter for sure!

Check out my new ride!
My ride is always around!

"Reading" her book even though she ripped out all the pages :-)

 Someone loves Doritos.. mmm healthy!

This has been happening a lot lately.. you can see baby brother in this picture :-)
Seriously she will put ANY AND EVERYTHING on her head except a little bow.. grrr!
She loves putting my shoes on! She even walked around in these for a minute!
Beautiful family pictures by Victoria Lind Photography! Thank you Victoria for capturing these..
I know you had to work with some difficult "models"

Halloween

This was Hadley's second Halloween, but the first time she could really participate. We joined our friends on a trek around the neighborhood. When people would give her candy I would take it out of her bag and put it into another kids bag.. lets be honest we know who would eat that candy - ME :/

Here is our cutie patootie flower:

She was actually happy that night!
Hadley was climbing out of this wagon so we moved her to the wagon
with buckles and the other kids took full advantage of the free ride!
Elsa pulling Hadley around!

15 Months

Hadley had her 15 month checkup 2 weeks ago and did really well with all 4... yes 4 shots! It was funny (probably not to her) because before her appointment Hadley and I met up with Victoria and Maddox for lunch and Victoria asked me if there were shots at this appointment and I had no idea.. I felt better when she said she rarely knows what is coming up at that next appointment either. With all the things us mom's juggle I think it is forgivable :-)

Her official stats are:

Height: 32 1/4" in the 94%
Weight: 23lbs 14oz in the 83%
Head: 17 3/4" in the 34%

Her vocabulary grows on a weekly basis. It is unbelievable to me how much she absorbs in such a short period of time. You tell or show her something a couple of times and she is a pro at it. *I use pro loosely.*

Her favorite thing to do right now is walk around saying "doga" (doe-ga) and panting like a puppy. She does this if she hears a dog bark or sees a dog or stuffed animal dog. It is adorable!

Time for pictures!

Below is from playtime with Grandju or Grandzu.. I never seem to get it right :-)  She loves her patty cake with Grandju(zu)!

Here uncle Justin is getting some baby practice...

It's a tough day of grilling and watching football.
 First bloody lip :-(

I promise she is okay in the picture below and I am not sure what she is so excited about in the other one!

She loves her alphabet dinosaur from GiGi!

She is helping Daddy type here - I bet she is faster than him!

Just some cute pictures of baby girl!

Wordless Wednesday (with words)

Hadley has picked up on a new trick. She goes to the cabinet takes the water pitcher out, goes to the refrigerator and tries to fill it with water, takes a pretend sip of water, lets out a little refreshing "ahhh," then goes to the dog water bowl and "fills" it up and then puts her hand in it.
"Momma you cannot get mad at me for touching the water bowl..
I was only doing what you do 10x a day"

She has learned to dance! Like I said in previous post she doesn't pay a lot of attention to the t.v. unless there is music or Moose A Moose.
I need to record the Kannady family dance party to The Fresh Beat Band.. oh yeah EVERYONE dances - including daddy!

My puppies put up with so much! Hadley was using Koda's e-collar as a steering wheel at first, but now she is back to just messing with him. I honestly don't know what she is checking out in the bottom right picture.. I'm gonna say the staples?!

See what I mean?? He puts up with A LOT! I put Koda up because he was running into everything with the collar on.. guess Hadley thought it was payback time for being knocked over or he had an itch and she was helping him scratch it?!

Random thoughts and updates:

As I opened the back car door this morning to get Hadley out I was greeted with a projectile shoe and a sour face. I tried my very best not to laugh because honestly it was so surprising it was hilarious. I guess she didn't want to wear her shoes anymore. She is almost 15 months, but her little attitude is far beyond her years!

Hadley has started to talk with an English type accent. Here are some of my favorite words and phrases:

Where is it?
Why?
Hello
Hi
I lor you
No No No (finger wagging included)
Lots of unknown squeaks, screams, squeals and howls.

She also knows some sign language and will ask for milk ALL.THE.TIME! (Grandparents don't be fooled she is not thirsty - she would drink all day long if you let her)!

Since this is wordless Wednesday I will leave you with a few more pictures:
