Baby K2 aka...

Nope no name yet, but we will have one by the time he is born ;-)

Remember this post.. so with my track record of posting almost every 10 weeks I only have this one and one more before baby boy is here! Ha!

how are you measuring?  on schedule

size of baby? 14 1/2 inches and almost 2lbs

heartbeat? 146 at my last appointment 3 weeks ago
total weight gain/loss? 7-10 lbs depending on time of day I weigh :-)
maternity clothes? All the time! 
stretch marks? No new ones that I can see
sleep? Still getting up at night but not staying up as long
best moment this week? Nothing spectacular but I do enjoy pregnancy and I am truly savoring it

movement? lots of movement mainly on the right side

food cravings? nothing particular I am definitely more hungry now a days

gender predictions? BOY!

what i miss:  Nothing right now
what i'm looking forward to: working on his nursery... I cannot wait for the things we ordered to start coming in!

Here is the nursery as of today:

We (okay Matt) took down the guest bed and moved it out and set up the crib (thank you Grand-PAW and GiGi!!) We moved around some of the furniture already in there to see if it would work and I am not sure yet, but for now it looks good! I was really concerned about where we would put our clean laundry when the guest bed was gone but turns out the crib is a really nice laundry basket.. I am still working on my laundry skills.

We have ordered the bedding from etsy and it should arrive in a few weeks. I cannot wait! I found a dresser on Craigslist for $50 and am hoping Matt and I can go look at it this weekend and get it if we like it. It would be perfect for a changing table/dresser. It will need to be refinished, but that will be easy (because I won't have to do it). Matt already said he is up for it!!

November Recap

Long overdue post is an understatement.. we are doing well just busy as can be and I have not made the time to update this blog like I want to.. no excuses I just haven't. At the end of the day the last thing I want to do is work on the computer, even if it has to do with fun stuff. Working from home has many many benefits but at the same time my work computer is always on. Sometimes I shut it all down and pack it away at night even when I have to get it all back out in the morning just to have a break. It gets too easy to respond to an email at 8p.m. and I definitely don't want people to think I am available 24/7!

Anyways on to the good stuff! Since I have not kept up with this blog and because Matt is yelling at me to go rest and get over this cold I will just post pictures and captions for now. Check back in a few days I will update it with more stories and details.

Okay my back now..

Okay the feet again..

You see Hadley woke up Thanksgiving day with a cold and wasn't feeling her best but was a trooper and did smile and play throughout the day. Towards the end of the day she really started fading. As she was playing with my mom, my mom started rubbing Hadley's feet. So now Hadley will sit down and take off her socks or shoes and pick up her feet for you to rub them. She is my daughter for sure!

Halloween

This was Hadley's second Halloween, but the first time she could really participate. We joined our friends on a trek around the neighborhood. When people would give her candy I would take it out of her bag and put it into another kids bag.. lets be honest we know who would eat that candy - ME :/
